Post The Ballad of Bloodmuffin
I don't know why exactly, but while I was writing this it kind of sounded like one of those old timey western songs, I think mostly because I called it a ballad.

The Ballad of Bloodmuffin

On a cold December morn
A bitty baby was born
Amongst the Gnomes a cheer was heard
The day would soon be won
The prodigal son had come
Sir Nigel Bloodmuffin the Third

Born into a long line of ladies and Sirs
A hollowed clan of Adventurers
A legacy that will continue for all time
After all his training was done
His father said, “go on son”
Then he picked up his blade and he knew he’d be fine

Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Nigel Bloodmuffin the Third
Be aware don’t tempt your fate
He’ll take you out with Incinerate
Sir Nigel Bloodmuffin the Third

Destruction is he spec of choice
And by simply raising up his voice
What was once demon has turned to ash
Shadowbolt and Emberstorm
These talents fill out his form
He can take you out in just a flash

Now a party needs a balanced mix
And if you’re ever in a fix
A warlock’s good to have on you side
He lives by his own creed
But helps his friends in need
He’ll jump on his felsteed and say, “let’s ride”

Possible space for the world’s best slap bass solo

Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Nigel Bloodmuffin the Third
From the Deadmines to Karazhan
His legend goes on and on
Sir Nigel Bloodmuffin the Third
His name invokes both respect and fear
If he’s one your side then you’re in the clear
Sir Nigel Bloodmuffin the Third
Say his name and the monsters flee
He’s a friend to you and me
Sir Nigel Bloodmuffin the Third

Post Re: The Ballad of Bloodmuffin
So yes, the Ballad of Bloodmuffin, it is quite the song, and it will be recorded! some day. Though heated debate Chris and I have decided to record it in the style of an Irish punk song, ala Flogging Mollies, well not "heated" debate so to say, more like Chris played a Flogging Mollies song and said, "It should sound like that." Followed by me saying, "Dude we could totally make it sound like that." Then Satan burst forth from the fiery pits of hell and said that it should clearly be a metal song and that we were lame, and for a brief second we did kind of feel that we were lame, but then Jesus appeared out of nowhere and pimp smacked Satan back to hell and reassured us that Irish punk was to way to go. We then went back to Jesus' apartment and played rock'em sock'em robots for three hours, I think, the details are kind of hazy. And there you go, the glorious Bloodmuffin shall be forever immortalized in song ... ... ... some day

P.S. oh yeah and I'm changing his name to Colin to make him sound more Irishy.
P.P.S. Jesus cheats at rock'em sock'em robots, he knew the blue robot's head was stuck and couldn't lose.

Post Re: The Ballad of Bloodmuffin
ok so the style of the song has been picked, and I know I said in the vent chat last night that i was going to re-write the song and give a new rhyming scheme to better fir the Irish-Punk genre, but I've figured out a different way of singing the lines as is that i think will work just fine now that i have the beat in my head, only problem, beat's too fast, song's too short, solution! More Lyrics, so he it is, in hopefully it's final written form, The Ballad of Bloodmuffin.

On a cold, cold December morn
An itty-bitty baby was born
And amongst the Gnomes, a cheer was heard
The day would soon be won
The prodigal son had come
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third

Born into a line of ladies and Sirs
A hollowed clan of Adventurers
A legacy that will continue for all time
After all his training was done
His father said, “Go on now son”
Then he picked up his blade and he knew he’d be fine

Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third
Be aware don’t tempt your fate
He’ll take you out with Incinerate
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third

Destruction is he spec of choice
And by simply raising up his voice
What was once demon has turned to ash
Shadowbolt and Emberstorm
These talents fill out his form
He can take you out in just a flash

From Duskwood, Felwood, Elwynn Forest
Everybody knows the chorus!
To the greatest gnome known to man
And if ya don’t, now that’s a shame
You clearly aren’t worth your name
So listen up, here it comes again

Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third
Extra shadow damage? No fuss
He’ll just sacrifice his succubus
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third

He’s not much for battlegrounds
You’ll hardly see him around
Off adventuring he’d rather be instead
But if you’re Horde, just trust me
You don’t want to see him on PVP
He’ll DOT ya and fear ya and leave you for dead

Now a party needs a balanced mix
And if you’re ever in a fix
A warlock’s good to have on you side
He lives by his own creed
But helps his friends in need
He’ll jump on his felsteed and say, “let’s ride”

Possible space for the world’s best Irish fiddle solo (Wait Chris doesn't have an Irish fiddle, nor does he know how to play one)

Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Bloodmuffin (Bloodmuffin)
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third
From the Deadmines to Karazhan
His legend goes on and on
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third
His name invokes both respect and fear
If he’s on your side then you’re in the clear
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third
Say two rhyming lines that make some sense
I hear they’re called “Rhyming Couplets”
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third
Say his name and the monsters flee
He’s a friend to you and me
Colin Bloodmuffin!
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin!
Sir Colin Bloodmuffin the Third!
